  The Boar is a great place for Badger games and this drinking holidays. On Mardi Gras the owner was fully costumed and handing out beads.

  I'll never be back. Coworkers and I went here for lunch. We thought the meat on our burgers smelled a bit funny. We didn't want to mention it because we had already waited a while for the food. I got mine well done so I thought it'd be fine. I paid $20 cash and the waitress acted like I paid with a $10. Thing is, I just went to the ATM and had all $20 bills in my wallet. After I showed her this she acted like giving me the correct change was doing me a HUGE favor. The coworkers and I spend the rest of the afternoon in the bathroom. We call it the Bloody Boar now and it's off the lunch rotation.

  Good atmosphere. Ribeye sandwich is great. Overall could be better, but a solid spot for an occasional meal or drink.

  This place is a total dive bar. That said, the place fills the roll perfectly. Pool tables, trivia, cheap pints, it's got it all. Great way to kick back and enjoy the evening.
